QUALITY REPORT
We are pleased to announce our Drinking Water Quality Report shows all results within acceptable limits with no violations. Copies of this report are available on request at our office.
LEAD SERVICE LINE INVENTORY
The federal EPA has required every water system to inventory their lines to determine if lead water lines are present. Central Water Works does not have any lead lines in our facilities or water mains.
This inventory also includes the service line connected to the member's side of the meter. In the coming months, we will send crews to visually inspect the water line on the member's side of the meter to look for lead. If lead is found, we will report those findings to our members who are affected.
Starting July 15th, we will be placing blue marking flags on each meter to help the work crews locate them. Please do not remove these flags! You may also notice white paint on the pavement in front of your meter site. Please do not try to remove this paint.
